Members jatchley Posted June 18, 2015 Members Posted June 18, 2015 Has anyone seen the river lately? I realize it is probably an impasse, but I'd like to head down as soon as possible and don't want to waste my time. If anyone could provide information as to the fishability of the river, I would appreciate it. Thanks- http://thejonathanatchleys.wordpress.com/
BFTMASTER Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 There is so much water headed for Arkansas, that it is quite possible to catch low water on LIR. They are going to run it Thursday sometime, but watch the schedule after the rain stops.
Members JCW355 Posted June 19, 2015 Members Posted June 19, 2015 Some triple digit flows today, check the schedule. They might be holding some water back again.
Members jatchley Posted June 20, 2015 Author Members Posted June 20, 2015 Thanks guys, probably looking to hit some trout later next week. The information is appreciated. http://thejonathanatchleys.wordpress.com/
Members Min Lee Posted June 23, 2015 Members Posted June 23, 2015 We went to LIR on Friday, June 19, and the water levels didn't seem high. It was my first time on the river, so I don't know for certain what the river normally looks like. The trout fishing was fantastic! Fished at the dam and caught the daily limit within an hour!
