brittsnbirds Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Sounds good, especially after this weekend. The wife is leaving town on Friday for a week. Wonder if mom would watch the hounds? What do they charge per night down at Montauk?
Members troutenhausen Posted February 5, 2007 Members Posted February 5, 2007 To primative tent camp is $8, an electric site is $14. The firewood is a pretty good deal... $3.50 for a large bundle. I had a fire going for 6 hours and burned 2 bundles.
Members troutenhausen Posted February 5, 2007 Members Posted February 5, 2007 I've never stayed in the cabins. The # is Toll Free 1-800-334-6946.
Members troutenhausen Posted February 7, 2007 Members Posted February 7, 2007 I'm from St. Louis. Can't decide if I'm heading down on Saturday, or waiting until Sunday morning. Anyone else gonna be around?
brittsnbirds Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 polock- I'm south of KCMO. Still haven't decided. May just make it a day trip to BSP.
polock Posted February 9, 2007 Author Posted February 9, 2007 i work every single weekend or i would meet ya up there... i know a few sweet spots. it only takes me 25 minutes to get to welch and cedar grove though
brittsnbirds Posted February 9, 2007 Posted February 9, 2007 I finally got out from under the weekend thing. Definately would like to find some honey holes. The first time down last year I ended up at Parker (where my fuel pump went out). That hole is huge, caught some smally's and trout. Didn't really have time to work it the way I would like!
