Members ckjacks Posted February 3, 2007 Members Posted February 3, 2007 I made my first trip to Roaring River this morning. Wow, what a beautiful and first class operation. Had a few takers, but 16 is a little too cold for me to stay long. Did anyone go today? Thinking about going again tomorrow and wondering what the hot flies are.
timsfly Posted February 3, 2007 Posted February 3, 2007 Fishing was pretty good this morning at the River, I managed to catch 12 and then had to go to work, I just closed the shop down and I'm getting ready to go out again for an hour or so, it is 25 now, (heat wave) I caught most of my fish on a woolybugger this morning, #8 heavy weighted,Dk brown, but caught the best trout(about 8lbs) on a wine colored SJW no weight and just sight fished to the fish, it was a hoot. Only about 8 guys on the river when I finished at 10, but there are a few more down there now.
