J-Doc Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 I'd trade you a few zero days for your lousy report. Better than some of mine this year. ;-) Especially the striper. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
Members Luckyj Posted June 29, 2015 Author Members Posted June 29, 2015 Well we did some "scouting" yesterday so it was not all fishing LOL but we launched at 530 and was back at the ramp by 1130. I got the Striper on a #9 Flicker Shad trolling. DId not mess with the live bait yesterday at all. But I will take it! Sure be glad with these big boats get off the water!!!!!!!
J-Doc Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Trolling seems to be a random chance of luck these days finding the right depth, bait, path, contour, etc. Trolling is astill complex as anything else if not more complex. People that don't troll or troll correctly don't get it. They think it's a random cast a bait out and drive the boat. So much more than that. Now finding a pattern lately (in reference to my earlier statement of luck) seems to be just cast a bait out and drive the boat. Lol!! But once you find the pattern you can make the most of it. Members Luckyj Posted June 29, 2015 Author Members Posted June 29, 2015 That is so TRUE! Most folks do not have a clue when it comes to trolling lol
