Evening 8-14-15

Went out of PC and drove about 12 miles before I started fishing. (Felt like some scenery. I haven't fished but once in the last month.)

I was fishing for bass along shorelines.  Nothing offshore. Water temp was 88 or so. 

I wound up with 2 Ks and 2 LM from finesse tactics. They wanted it retrieved real slow. I also felt like the presentation had to fall at just the right rate. I didn't get bit when I went to a heavier weight. Tough fishing but I was happy to not get skunked. Also saw a fawn with it's spots still on. Always fun to watch. I was back to the ramp by dark.

Sounds like a good night.  I took out of hickory creek and fished some bluff ends and shallows with brush.   Caught 1 bass out of 15 ft or so crankin.  Flicker shad in red craw color.  Had a few hit right at the boat.  Too many boats makin waves to finesse for me.   I'll probably be out mist the day Sunday n Monday when it calmer hopefully
