Members ckjacks Posted February 26, 2007 Members Posted February 26, 2007 Went Friday. The water temp was 41-44. We fished from prairie creek to rocky branch. Water was pretty clear as you went up the lake. Didn't really fish too much, just looked around.
CMAC Posted February 28, 2007 Author Posted February 28, 2007 Looks like a pretty tough event give the tournament weights from the CPAA this weekend.
Guest flyfishBDS Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 heard from one customer tuesday water temps were 44-45 main part of the lake from dam up to little clity back of the covers, streams were 48 still cooold
Members ckjacks Posted March 8, 2007 Members Posted March 8, 2007 I went today and fished between Prairie Creek and Hickory Creek. Saw water temps in the 44-47 range. Its warming up. Water was pretty clear up past HWY 12, but really dirty around Hickory. Thats pretty normal though.
Members ckjacks Posted March 11, 2007 Members Posted March 11, 2007 The first ever U of A Bass Club tourney was today. Went out and my partner caught 2 pretty nice ones and a couple spots. I caught 2 spots. Today was awesome till about 10 o'clock when the fog lifted and then it slowed way down. Saw a ton of boat traffic this afternoon, so I think that no one was getting bit. Also, I saw probably 50 different striper boats, but it didnt look like they were catching any. Did see two in the 15lb range when we were taking out at Hickory Creek. We saw water temps from 48-56. It really started to get hot this afternoon.
