Members wayneblevins Posted August 18, 2015 Members Posted August 18, 2015 Stopped by Hook Line and Sinker this morning and bought bait My daughter had to play with the Jack Russell that was there. I launched at horse shoe bend and fished around that area I managed to catch 3 keeper crappie and one catfish my daughter caught her first fish by herself a bluegill that was to small to keep but she enjoyed it( she just turned three last week). All the crappie and the catfish were caught in about 40 to 45 foot of water the crappie seemed to be suspended about thirty foot deep I could not get a bite any shallower than that. I would also like to thank the guys at hook line & sinker I bet the don't see many people in there store wearing a purple tutu (not me my daughter) Sorry no pics I left my phone in the truck J-Doc and Lance34 2

Any time with a 3yr old on the lake and she has fun and catches a fish......that's building memories right there! Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. Members wayneblevins Posted August 18, 2015 Author Members Posted August 18, 2015 My Daughter would probably have a problem with that But if some one would get me a size I would be more that happy to get him one and drop it off at hook line and sinker. It seemed to work for her. My daughter likes going with dad she has to help me haul hay feed cows fish and deer hunt last year I had to hunt out of the neighbors old barn with his permission so she could take her dolls.
J-Doc Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Sounds like you are one lucky fella to have a daughter that wants to do everything with Daddy. Mine is all girl. And I do mean girly girl. Princess diva and full of sass. I'm hoping she takes up fishing with me. Just been too hot this summer for her and I only want to take her when I know I can put her on fish. Her attention span is about ( --- ) that long. I could definitely see mine wearing a tutu though. That's cute. Take that little girl fishing as much as she wants to go Dad.
