planning a trip ... looking for some help

Trying to plan a trip for late September  or early October.  I am going to go for a week... Looking for advise on a place to stay (Mo side) ... Best week to go? Really hoping to find some schooling action... I know this will depend on weather, but is it looking like I should go sooner or later? Also considering a guide for the first day I get there to get me a head start... Guide recommendations?

I would wait as late as possible that you can for your trip to allow the lake to get to somewhat normal level. Should start to see some schooling action in early October. Give me a call if you are interested in a guide trip, we got into some striper, white bass, and bass last year on the upper end.
