Members bc23champ Posted September 2, 2015 Members Posted September 2, 2015 Fished quite a bit the last couple days. Hickory creek area. Tough bite yesterday was really hoping for a good early bite and top water but couldn't find anything. Caught 6-7 fished from 930 -430. Caught small bass on wiggle warts and flicker shads no true patter just kinda spread out went out tonight from 530-830. Fished close to monte ne area. Had the best night I've had in awhile. Caught10-11 bass on flicker shad close to lay downs Then got into a nice schooling frenzy and caught 3-4 on top. Just had to wait for them to bust the top. Throw the popper to the action and it was automatic !! Such a good time They would bust it as soon as it hit the water. Nothing of any size but I'll take the numbers. M_Taylor Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Thanks for the report. Were you casting the flickr shad? Also, did you find the topwater in coves or main lake? Thanks!
J-Doc Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Sounds like a fun time to me. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
jolicious Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Glad you had a good time, and thank you for the report. I am headed out Saturday morning again, and hoping to find more than my three last week: Diddly Piddly and Squat Lol!! Lance34 1
