Jason Essary Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Hello gentlemen, Names Jason and Im new to this forum. Found it a couple weeks ago and I'm so happy that I did. I've lived on Table Rock my whole life, im 30, and own my own local construction company. I love fishing for anything I can get to bend my rod; larges, spots, smallies, crappie, and have started to get addicted to walleye (although Ive had no luck so far). I just wanted to say hi and voice my apprieciation for the forum. I love to read the current trends and feedback, and wish to help out in any way. Ive looked for a forum like this for 2 years now and dont know how I missed it. If anyone has any starters for walleye Id love to hear them, think I know the basics but anything might help. Would love to tackle one in the 'teens'. Thanks for the awesome forum, Ill be reading Essary Construction - Honest work for honest price Custom Construction and Remodeling Call for free quotes (417)338-6418 http://essarycustomhomes.com/

Gary Lange Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Welcome Jason! You can try a 1/2 Jig with a minnow and then tie another 1/8 oz Jig with about 18" of line onto the eye of the 1/2oz put a minnow on that and work the River channels up the river arm toward the dams or they will also spawn or attempt to along the rip rap face of the on the sides of the dams. Try working very slow bouncing the big jig along the bottom. Respect your Environment and others right to use it!

Don Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Welcome Coyote, Wish I knew walleye enough to help you. Neat avatar. Did you hear about the blonde coyote that caught her foot in the trap? She chewed three legs off and was still caught in the trap. Don P.S. You blondes reading this don't need to worry because you're probably not a coyote. Don May I caught you a delicious bass.
