Members Rookeye Posted October 9, 2015 Members Posted October 9, 2015 Anybody been having any luck walleye fishing on any of the Truman lake arms?
shaker Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I caught several this last Spring while crappie fishing more that ever before so there are some there and the Conservation has stocked some I don't know how many but there have been several stockings. I haven't fished enough this past summer and fall to be able to tell you if anything is happening. But I am planning on fixing that pretty dang quick! RB
rainbow Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I have had my best walleye luck trolling wiggle warts in front of the dam. Takes a while to catch them but worth the wait.
Members Rookeye Posted October 21, 2015 Author Members Posted October 21, 2015 Thanks for the reply guys. Rainbow, the time you trolled wiggle warts, was that spring or fall? Going to try trolling cranks and bottom bouncers w/ crawler harness this weekend around KK and up tha pommie arm. marcus 1
rainbow Posted October 26, 2015 Posted October 26, 2015 Haven't been on here for about a week so just saw your question. We usually go in June before it gets too hot. Was there last week and hammered the hybrids and whites.
Members Rookeye Posted October 27, 2015 Author Members Posted October 27, 2015 Battled the wind Saturday around KK area pulling cranks and worm harnesses, even tried vertical jigging spoons a long some of the old road beds points around hoggels ......like trying to find a needle in a hay stack...not a bite. Hit some of the conservation brush piles and picked up a few short crappie. Going to try the osage and sac later in November /December. Anyone know when that migration starts for walleye ?
