Campground

I drove through Riverton last year sightseeing Eleven Point river area.And as I recall there was a campground or what appeared to be a campground with electic hookups between Riverton and Alton on 160.Does anyone know if this is so,or did I just mistake what I saw for a campground.If it was a campground I would appreciate any information you can give me.

The number for that campground is 417-778-6307 and it is owned by Chester Colmbs. He may be tough to get a hold of, but you should be able to contact him if you keep trying. I think he charges around $15. It is rarely sold out and I have known people to just show up and he will come by and collect from you. Try to contact him first though.

Hey Brian, I guess it would be safe to say that the 11point won't be floatable this weekend?

The more experienced conoers may be able to float it if it comes down to about 4ft on the gauge (5.6ft presently), but caution would be the name of the game. I would wait just a little longer though. Fishing probably would be tough with the high water anyway.

it's kind of disappointing, I was looking forward to floating the 11 point this weekend but I guess we're gonna do the Current instead.
