[Hammer time]

Got a late start with my son a put in a 11. Went up the big sac and not far past Birch water turned to mud with about 4" visibility. Caught one short on a blade, went another 1/4 mile up and 2" visibility. Tried jig and blade for about a hour longer, not a bite.

Decided to run if to dam area and fish clean water. Fished jigs from dam back to ramp on channel banks and swings. Tuff day for us only managed 7 fish 1 short spot and 6 blacks with 2 keeps. Fish had lockjaw for us but still enjoyed spending time with each other. Seen 5 bald eagles and lots of migrating ducks. Pretty day and we knew with bluebird skies and north with it would be tuff. Oh well there's always next time.
