Members Kdub Posted December 21, 2015 Members Posted December 21, 2015 WT 46 deg. Fished anchored in several spots throughout the day within 6 miles of Truman Dam. Then later in the day went up on Truman and drifted, had absolutely no luck. I was using previously frozen shad, big and small pieces. Im pretty much a beginner cat fisher and new to Loz. So I really didn't know where to begin. I plan on trying again this coming wkend. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
navery Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 What kind of places were you anchoring? They have been running a lot of water so the cats have moved up, albeit scattered still. It has been hit and miss for me. They have been biting better after dark. You should really try to find fresh shad. It does make a difference. They should be in coves right now. Mud flats, points and mouths of coves were working well for me, but I haven't been in a couple weeks. Good luck!
