My good friend and fishing partner Michael Taylor built this Flyrod Holder with tackle drawers for a giveaway prize at the Illinois Smallmouth Alliance Bronzeback Blowout which is the big fund raiser for this conservation, socialization, and educational organization. He does some beautiful work.

It has six drawers that are 14" X 9.25" X 4".

Wow. That's awesome. I've always wanted to build a table-top fly tying bench but haven't gotten around to it. Clamping the vice on the kitchen table gets very old.

Thats what I told him he should be doing. I don't know if he would build one to sell to someone or not he may.

if i could build like that, i'd definitely sell a few pieces to support my fishing habit. maybe sell a few around christmas to bring in some extra $ for gifts and such.

It's beautiful. Never seen anything like it. Did he find a pattern for it or just design it himself? I could find a place for one myself, if he ever decided to sell them.

I think he designed it himself.

To all who are interested I talked with Michael today and he advised that he would be happy to build them for whoever would like one. You can e-mail him at linus_bulldog@hotmail.com
