Steve Smith Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 That might mean Taney may shut down too if Beaver's quit pushing water. Fat chance, but it might happen ___________________________ AKA Flysmith - Cassville MO
Guest flyfishBDS Posted February 21, 2007 Posted February 21, 2007 Will at least speed up lowering Table rock from flood pool. As at this morning Table Rock was 1.25' into flood, and the cORP estimate was for Taney to clear flood by the 26th. Look here http://www.swl-wc.usace.army.mil/WCDS/Repo...ily/lakfcst.txt for lake level forecast. Of coourse all this then depends on weekend thunderstorms and how many and where it falls. Beaver's Catchment includes Upper White (well south of Fayetteville) and War Eagle. Taney has the Kings . How much and where the rain falls is a big issue, as to which lake gets topped up. They clear flood water from downstream first so Bull gets pushed otu then Taney then Beaver. How much and how fast they have to clear can impact generation upstream. We often get generation free gaps at Beaver when Bull Taney and Norfolk are wide open. Then they blast us. Cheers Fishign was fun, little slow on falling water but then got a dozen in a couple of horus playing with new patterns. Cheers Steve
