Branson TU Board Meeting

We had a board of directors meeting last night and made some decisions as to future meetings, developed a mission statement, talked about fund raising, goals, ambitions and a membership drive. There are plans in the works to develop a power point presentation to take the message to civic clubs and other organizations. The goals include meeting with the hatchery folks to discuss what is needed ie; everything from bank stabilization to river structure, cleanups etc. A website will be designed, a booth or at least an area will be set up for hatchery visitors to learn more about TU, and where they can get applications. Meetings for now will be quarterly with the next one set for March 27 at 7:00 pm at the hatchery meeting room.

Subsequent meetings are as follows

March 27, 2007, 7:00 pm at the Hatchery

June 26, 2007, 6:30 pm at the Hatchery Outlet 2 pavillion meeting and cookout.

September 25, 2007 7:00 pm at the Hatchery

December 11, 2007, Christmas Dinner, date and time to be announced.

There will be other events that TU will participate in such as the Family Fishing Fair on the free weekend in June.
