in at 7:30 out at 11:30. fishing was poor. water 44 to 46 and just dirty. went all the way within a mile of dam and down to masters water got nastier down at masers. crossing turkey and maze water was dirty. noticed as I checked some deeper water lot of clutter down 15 to 20 feet then clear then more clutter 15 foot from bottom. has to be the silt or whatever it is suspended in the water. did mark lot of shad and fish in 30 to fifty foot range and loons diving in that depth also. think i'll wait for clearer and warmer water before trying again. good luck and good fishing.

I was sure hoping to hear it had cleared up some. Looking at going on Monday out of Cedar. Was at Ruark last week and the water was the nastiest stuff I've ever seen.

Thought sure it would have warmed up some this last week.

I think the clutter is great big Shad  colonies  sounds like you were close to fish.      Keep trying
