Members b.howell Posted March 18, 2016 Members Posted March 18, 2016 Hey everyone, I am wanting to go on to Taneycomo with my boat for the first time and planned on putting in at Rockaway Beach. What advice can you give me for when I am running on the lake. I am not asking for fishing advice but navigation advice. All I will be in is a 17' Bass Tracker. How far either way would you recommend going from rockaway beach. All advice is appreciated.
marcus Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 thats where props go to die i always say......i wouldn't navigate at night if i was u....you should be fine if you put you glasses on! i broke my prop last time i went and i was careful
sms_alum Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 You should be fine down that far. I would head towards to the landing for trout. You have the perfect rig to troll some crankbaits. There are some shallow spots but just keep in the channel and take it slow. I wouldn't head to much above fall creek but that would be a pretty good boat ride. b.howell 1
