rps Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I love my Minn Kota trolling motor. The Terrova with a fob I have now replaced an earlier hand guided motor. The hand guided had a traditional cord pull for deploy and retrieve. The Terrova has a deploy and retrieve mechanism I find awkward. When I tore my rotator cuff that required surgery, it was deploying the motor that was the final straw. Now days, when I retrieve the motor, I find the push the lever with one hand and keep my balance as I muscle the motor up with the other less than fun. Last year I saw the great ad for the auto deploy and retrieve Ulterra. Have any members here actually purchased the product? What do you think?
