Fished little sac arm for crappie today. This is what I get when I crappie fish with a flyrod. Caught a few crappie too, but these guys put up one heck of a fight. Fun day on the water, got to meet Jason. He's a top knotch crappie fisherman.

I have been trying my luck for carp on a fly rod, with no luck. I am new to this too. boy they spook easy. what fly did you use for these two ? nice catch.

These were caught unexpectedly while crappie fishing. When I target carp I sight fish for them in shallow, clear water. The fly was a black chenille body with chartreuse marabou tail 80th oz jig under a small float.
