Terry Beeson Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Maybe it was a mistake... But Leonard gave me a couple of his new PSCSs and I took them down to Taney to try them out. Well, I got on the water, took the tippet in my hand, reached in my "man purse" and took out my fly box... Then I chose one of the PSCSs and pulled it out to tie it on my tippet.... Well... As I was threading the tippet through the eye of the hook, I looked down....... and..... Leonard Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Thats not because of my PSCS... But I bet it could work for carp I think they either liked you... or you bought the wrong whistle again... Terry.. you'll never find that 'Big Fish" whistle.. I had it specially made out of white maple-cedar thorn tree that I found in a crop of bamboo... I almost got a boo stick to.. but I thought the tree would have been a beter choice.. Leonard http://www.taneycomonights.com

Don Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Thanks to TB, I could somehow imagine that MOCarp is spinning up a box full of PSCS's as we speak. Don Don May I caught you a delicious bass.
fly2fish Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Maybe those fish Leonard is catching at night are carp, he just isn't turning his light on to see what they are. I will be there the 18th through 23rd fishing mostly at night. I will know which nights after I get there and will post then. I had been looking for a good easy sculpin pattern for a while, the one Phil posted looks easy enough.
