Stump bumper Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 If you are headed to the Lake or know someone out there now watch the radar. BAD storm just east of Tulsa headed this way. 6pm-9pm will be the worst. If there is a Thursday night jack pot, someone please call them.
Stump bumper Posted July 14, 2016 Author Posted July 14, 2016 Well looks like the storm was early and headed down to Fort Smith for the worst of it. So sorry for the false alarm.
Vinsott Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 Going out there right now. Looks like it fizzled around here.
Vinsott Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Caught lots of undersized crappie. Bait was very scattered and minimal and a storm at 3am pushed us out of there. Was not a productive night but still had fun. Only caught two white bass. No one out there but us again. Used various types of jigs and plastics for crappie. Even had a big crappie get off at boat on a Ned. We were set up in 100' of water. I do think with the moon fairly bright the lights don't attract near as much bait.
Stump bumper Posted July 16, 2016 Author Posted July 16, 2016 Maybe time time to move North, wish we had some reports from the guys running lights North of Point 5. There are aways a lot of boats tied to trees up there.
