Blll Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Still had a few boxes to unpack (only took 3 years). I came across several packs of "Basstrix" hollow body swimbaits. These were big up North several years ago for both bass and walleyes. I've not ever heard them mentioned on the forum. Have any of you tried them on Beaver?
Stump bumper Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 When bass are up shallow and feeding on big bait they are great, this time of year they hard to get deep enough and IMO summer is the time to downsize. Unless you can find nest raiders after dark. There is just tons of small fry running around right now, and that is what everything seems to key in on. I have caught a lot of stripers on those in the winter.
