Members Josh Posted March 12, 2007 Members Posted March 12, 2007 well im making the annual spring fishing trip down to shell knob this Saturday and I will be staying until the 25th I’ll be around the needles eye/lost hill area and will be looking to catch some sand bass and crappie during my trip. I’m looking for hot spots or ideas on where to catch the sandies this spring (I have never been great at catching the sand bass on table rock this time of year) are they even biting right now??? And how’s the crappie in that neck of the woods??? By the way I hear my favorite shell knob BBQ restaurant burnt down this last weekend say it aint so, where’s a guy got to go to get some good BBQ now?
chub minnow Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 I'll be in the needle's eye area on that weekend (thru Tues) but actually plan on doing some white bass and walleye fishing up the White and Kings depending on conditions. But if B&J burned down, that truly is disappointing. By the way my buddy reported catching a 4.5 lb largemouth off of needle's eye dock last Friday. Might still be in the area..
Members Josh Posted March 12, 2007 Author Members Posted March 12, 2007 ill be going up the kings as well but im always having a hard time locating the white bass for some reason…
Steve Smith Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 B&J's place did burn over the weekend. I only heard about it, but was told it was totally destroyed. The closest places for good que would be the Rib in Cassville or Bubba's place in Eureka Springs. I can't do you much good on fishing reports. ___________________________ AKA Flysmith - Cassville MO
