This past weekend, there were a lot of white bass up past the mouth of roaring river about 1 mile in, just a ways past, what we locals call Yellow bluff. I talked to a friend of mine who fished up there on sat, took them 2 hrs to catch 45 that were about 2lbs each, a few bigger but mostly big males, so if the weather holds they should be up in the shallow part of the river in a week, it makes for some good wade fly fishing when they get up below the bridge there at eagle rock.
