I got to stockton late in the afternoon on Sunday and was gettin ready to put my boat in and I noticed that the dock @ the boat ramps was gone. I went ahead and put in, fished for a few hours, then came back. I had to beach the boat to get out to pull the truck down, which I really do not like doing cause it scratches up the bottom of my boat. A guy that was already putting his boat up said he was there 2 weeks before and the dock was there then. Anyone heard anything about it?

Man, I hope they are just replacing it. Thats the only ramp I've ever used. My grandpa is having knee surgery soon so we will have to have a dock so he can get on the boat, he can't really step up or down, but man that dock was the perfect height for our boat.

yummysmokedham already knows this, but I thought others might benefit from the info. I called Mutton Creek Marina today to ask about the dock and they said that it was just under water right now (about 3.5 feet down). They said they should be getting out soon to resolve the problem, but none of them have wanted to venture into the water as of yet. Hopefully they were talking about the right dock, because that's a good launching point.

Both of the Mutton Creek docks are gone. Mutton Creek owner Dan says indeed theirs (at the south end where the marina is) is under water, but he wasn't sure where the Corps maintained dock across the lake is. I called the Corps this morning and they didn't know anything about theirs being either gone or under water, so they are calling their maintenance guy. The Corps guy told me in no uncertain terms "IT SHOULDN'T BE GONE!"
