Members yummysmokedham Posted March 14, 2007 Members Posted March 14, 2007 Hello all, I am from Carthage and am new to lake fishing. I have fished for almost all my life, I am 24, but mostly in local rivers and ponds. I recently graduated from College and now have a "Grown Up" job and I still live at home so I have the disposable income for a boat. I purchased a 1997 Tidecraft 16 ft bass boat in Oct so this will be my first year lake fishing. So far I have had real good luck in Taneycomo, but not much luck anywhere else. I joined the forum to learn as much as I can from the people that have been lake fishing a lot more than I have, most probably for longer than I have been alive. So far I have hit up Stockton and Taneycomo this year, and last year hit up Taneycomo, Table Rock, and Stockton. I am still trying to learn all of the terminology, etc so I apologize ahead of time for all of the stupid questions I may pose I have a lot of disposable time at work sitting in front of the computer most of the day, so I will probably be a regular on here. Seriously, no one on here will harass you if you say something wrong...well, they will, but only in a good natured way! I am new to fly fishing, and I have learned people understand if you say, "that thing that you use to wrap the stuff on the hook" better than you would think! Have fun, and happy fishing! I can bring home the trout...fry it up in a pan...and never let you forget I caught it! 'Cause I'm a woman!
