Oh, I didn't tie it. (Come on, Dan, you seen pictures of my flies!) I found it on flyanglersonline.com. (Avoiding work again. :-))

I have found that a lot of good flies w/ instructions on flyanglersonline.com. A lot of sites give you a list of materials but no instructions.

Webfreeman...

Yes that would work..

But instead of the hackle..

Wait a day or 2 and someone may post a picture of that fly.. I sent them out in the fly swap..

I use hook, thread, pine squirrel, and superglue...

I tye in the tail.. wind the thread forward.. superglue the hook shank.. and wrap the squirrel forward tye off and ... done..

This is the pattern I'll be tying at the sowbug..

Unless Terry gets to close.. then I tye a scud ;)

You'll never know I'm there, Leonard. I'm going to wear my "Davy Wotton" costume... You'll think I'm Davy...

(Gotta practice the accent... )

"G'day mate! Up for some shrimp on the barby? What knife... that's not a knife.... Now this here, THIS is a knife... CRIKEY mate! SHE'S a BEAUT!"

 Oh wait... That's not Davy.... That's my Steve Dally accent... dang...

Dang it... Maybe I'll just come as LMW or Ducky...
