Leonard Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Webfreeman... Yes that would work.. But instead of the hackle.. Wait a day or 2 and someone may post a picture of that fly.. I sent them out in the fly swap.. I use hook, thread, pine squirrel, and superglue... I tye in the tail.. wind the thread forward.. superglue the hook shank.. and wrap the squirrel forward tye off and ... done.. This is the pattern I'll be tying at the sowbug.. Unless Terry gets to close.. then I tye a scud Leonard http://www.taneycomonights.com
Terry Beeson Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 You'll never know I'm there, Leonard. I'm going to wear my "Davy Wotton" costume... You'll think I'm Davy... (Gotta practice the accent... ) "G'day mate! Up for some shrimp on the barby? What knife... that's not a knife.... Now this here, THIS is a knife... CRIKEY mate! SHE'S a BEAUT!" Oh wait... That's not Davy.... That's my Steve Dally accent... dang... Dang it... Maybe I'll just come as LMW or Ducky...
