Stump bumper Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 Got a few hours this afternoon and ran around PC looking for some shad. Wind was up too high to see any shad except for those breaking top and all were too small. I threw the net at the little ones hoping for some big ones to be mixed in no luck. Trolled around between the islands no luck there, got up on plane and ran right through the only top water action I saw all day. So decided to beat the bank with a ned rig and all I got was a 8lb flathead and broke the hook on the ned rig trying to get out of his mouth. Looked for some deep fish or shad to spoon and could not find anything along the channels. Really different than this time last year. Note to self, pick up bait on way out next time. Back of cove at RT12 boat launch seemed to have bait, but it is too shallow to get a boat back there. Water temp was 64
Blll Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 I was out for awhile yesterday too. Pulled brooders in PC. Tough wind to slow troll in. Caught 5 spots 12"-14" and missed as many with the wind. Did mark several huge shad balls out in front but no action around them. In by noon. wt 65
