I put in a little before 8:00 Saturday morning at Cedar Ridge.  I fished from there down the lake to a little past state park.  I had 31 total with 15 keepers.  Most of them on a spinner bait.  I found them on the steeper banks with the wind blowing in on them.  The fish were hold right on the bank so I would parallel the bank with my boat only 10 to 15 feet from the bank.  I had the trolling motor down and a covered a lot of water.   I didn't get anything big, I had 4 in 3 lbs range the rest just 15-16 in keepers.  The bite seemed to be better before noon than after for me.  I was back at the ramp around by 3:00.  Water temps were from 51-53 in most areas.  I did a little testing with blade colors same spinner bait just changing the blade colors but it didn't seem to make a difference in the blade colors.  The stock 3/8 war eagle in mouse color seemed to work as good as any.  I threw a 1/2 oz in the same blade combo but I took of the skirt and put on a 5-6" swim bait trying to catch some bigger fish but I don't think I got a bite on that one.  I am not sure what the cold weather will do to the fish but I am thinking it might slow down the blade bite soon.

Thanks for the report redshad...good to see the spinnerbait bite is still good if you get in the right areas....its tapered off some for me last couple outings.  Sure is fun when they are smashing it right on the bank...makes if tough to put down!!

You sure are right about it being tough to put down.  You can catch them several ways right now.  I was catching several on the DT-4 when I started and made the decision just to go with the sb and cover water.  I used your info about the deeper banks in the coves.  You can pull in a cove look around and tell where they are going to be.  It's a good time to fish right now.  If the blade bite turns off with the cooler weather you should still get them on the wart at jerkbait until the end of the year.
