Over the weekend

Well, I didn't see any other OAFers around the park. Of course I wouldn't have known just by looking.

How about that blizzard on Saturday? Didn't expect that.

I was there on Saturday and did OK despite the crowd and the snow. Spent most of the afternoon trying to get the kids on some fish but the weather was too much for them.

I hear that. Wifey tried to be a trooper, but couldn't take it anymore. I stuck it out with one delay. Ran out of LP. No furnace=pi__ed of spouse.

By the way, are you Kenjenmo from pop the top?

Yep, guess I am the same kenjenmo from Pop-the-top. Have not been there in a long time seeing that I sold my pop-up. Spend most of my time at a private lake with 2 nice travel trailers now.

I haven't been there in a while either. I don't even know if it's still up for sure. I remembered the call sign though.

I was there with a friend, and we spent saturday and sunday mornings outside the park. Caught 7 fish each between the park and tan vat on saturday, and got out extremely cold. Fished down from baptist the next morning- no fish. Went to tan vat on the way back and ended up with 3 fish between the two of us. I was there early on friday (half day of school), so I spent friday, saturday, and sunday evenings in the fly-only and C&R areas. Spent monday morning there too, and we kept 3 each for friends back home. Can't wait to go back and get the skunk off of the Baptist Camp stretch.

You guys didn't get dropped off by a guy in the loop 4 parking lot on Saturday morning did you? I saw two guys get out and walk that way.

Yeah, we did. Early, right after the buzzer. Brown '98 Dodge Ram with a matching camper shell. I was the one wearing the "Here Fishy, Fishy" hat and the camo jacket. Where were you at when you saw us?

I was in the blue F150 crew cab with the female companion in the lot.

I'm looking good for either Monday or Tuesday or both, but we've got stuff going down here on Wednesday and the Captain is chaining me to work.

On the highly public incident, no we've done pretty well in the court of public opinion. Captain even got a nice note from the guy that owns Silver Dollar City! That's cool that someone down that way is paying attention to what we're doing. I was on Fox News twice in one day!
