Members AKflyfisher Posted March 19, 2007 Members Posted March 19, 2007 Ok well I am on my way to Arkansas And plan on stoping in Branson For a week to do some fishing, My Father Is coming down from Pa to meet me so we should have a good time, I hope. Anyway I have a question about permits. I am alright with spending $47 bills to fish I will be living in AR so I might tempted to come to MO every now and then, But my dad Probably is going to have a problem spending $47 buck on a permit he is going to use maby 3days. Isnt their a daily fishing permit for MO? I cant find one on the fish and game website
davekeim Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Missouri has a daily fishing permit for residents and non-residents. It's is $7 per day. Also if fishing Taney he'll need a trout permit which is $7 annually. Won't save too much but every little bit helps. Signed, Cardiac Abdito! Another Beautiful Day In The Ozarks
Members AKflyfisher Posted March 19, 2007 Author Members Posted March 19, 2007 cool thanks guys I couldnt find it on the MDC site so I figured I would ask
rainbow Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 I think Lilley's sells the daily tags. Also I don't think you need a license if you are over 65, anyone know about that one.
Members AKflyfisher Posted March 19, 2007 Author Members Posted March 19, 2007 thanks rainbow but neither me or my father are over 65, a couple more years for him atleast.
rainbow Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 AK, I looked it up and that is for residents only. I'll be there in a couple weeks and I can tell you that it is worth the price of the tags. The fishing is great this time of year. You and your dad will have a great time. Stop in at Lilley's if you aren't staying there.
