Another attaboy for Lilley and this web site...

About a month ago I got tired of sitting around the house and started looking for someplace to take the family... We camp quite a bit so I was looking for a trip to scope some campgrounds and play around a bit… I came across this site and decided that we should do a family fishing trip to Tany... 18 month old daughter 4 year old son, the wife and I.

Never been down there before...

Well, Lilley's was booked so we stayed next door (Wanda and Lynn at Ozark Trout are also fantastic). My son caught his first trout (made me keep it so he could "eat it for dinner"). Because of the kids' age, we only fished for a few hours... they loved the hatchery and the pizza place Lilly's wife told us about (kind of a chuck e cheese on steroids)... We had a great time down there...

So, Lilly, thanks for this site and all the info on here it prepared me for the success I had which was key since my fishing time was so short... and please thank your wife for the popcorn for the kids and letting my son pet the cat.

You will see me again. I haven't fly fished since I was in high school, but I'm having my parents send me all my flies and fly tying stuff that is still in their attic… I’m looking forward to getting back into it and teaching my kids too.
