Members LuvToFish Posted February 13, 2017 Members Posted February 13, 2017 Fished below the damĀ at the boat ramp area on Saturday. What a beautiful February day with temps soaring above 80 degrees. There were several people fishing below the dam but certainly not crowded by any stretch. No generation occurred overnight so the water was lowest I've seen there (not that I'm an expert or fish there often). An easy walk all the way across the river at the boat ramp. Didn't see anyone catch any trout besides the one I got on a copper john below an indicator. It was a beautiful 12 inch bow which I promptly released. I also didn't see many fish in the water, maybe two over the course of a couple hours. The Trout Guide indicated the AFGC stocks 4000 trout below the dam in both January and February. They were not in evidence this day for whatever reason.
