Fishin' the White

Caddis, Caddis and More Caddis. the hatch is on for sure on the white and has moved up as far as newlands hole about a mile and a half from the dam. Fishing Dry with everger droppers has been successful on no and lower generation. the lake did get above normal pool the other day so generation has been heavy as of late and in fact up to 7 units on friday and 5 yesterday.

When generation has begun the water sure gets dirty so staying in front of it has been this guides choice. We did stay in front of the dirty water yesterday till lunch which brought us down to Rim Shoals. We then turned back upstream and found clean water at the narrows. On a SJ Worm fishing deep we did hook and land one 22 inch brown trout and numerous bows. Looking for some lower generation levels when the lake gets back down to below 654.
