Hello, everyone!

I go by MOFish (it's been a nickname I've used on other fishing boards for almost seven years) but my first name is Mark. My wife and I live in St. Louis, but we fish Taneycomo at least twice a year. Once in late January/early February as part of a group that comes down, and then again around spring break.

I was born and raised in western Colorado, where trout fishing was all I knew. Later on I learned to fish for bluegill and crappie in Illinois with my grandpa. Dad sent me to a small college in Nebraska, which was the best thing that could have happened to me. Met my wife there.

Taneycomo has been a God-send for me. I'll be down with my father-in-law this coming weekend (March 31 through April 4) and will do some fishing out of the boat, and some wade fishing below the dam if the water isn't running like crazy.

Biggest fish so far has been a 21" rainbow caught near Short Creek with a small olive jig/float combo using 2 lb line on a Shimano Sahara mounted to a 6'-6" St. Croix Avid. Yes, it went back in the lake after the photo was taken.

If you see me around, please come up and introduce yourself.
