So what part are the white bass up there by? I was at Ft. Gibson dam and caught 5 buffalo a herring and either 3 or 4 whites... I never knew how much fun they were on a fly rod! (I sure wish I coulda started fly fishing for them eirlier :closedeyes: )Well we were using a white and chartruse jig bout 8 foot under a large peice of foam and would strip it back and pretty much doodlesock it. It was tons of fun! Well thats all I have to say :rolleyes:

Skipjack Herring or maybe a hickory shad, kinda look like little tarpon. they are freshwater.

HORNYHEAD NO BIG WORDS :P!!! lol thats alright... I knew its a Herring but we just call them Herring and not Hickory shad or skipjack herring... (all I know is that theyre really good bait for a striper bait...) Well Ill give you a description of him... He was Blue on the back had a really hard lip and was really long and slinder Hopefully that can give you a better chance on knowing what he was... Cya! So where are them bass?!?!?!? lol
