Lets hear some fish stories

Surely someone has fished down there in the past couple of weeks. How is the pothole fishing? Has anyone been up Beaver lately? How about K dock any info would be nice. Im planning a trip down this weekend help me out boys.

I went to the pothole and lower beaver creek about a week ago. We had absolutely no luck an anything we threw at them. The only thing we caught was a few bluegill and an 8 inch rainbow in the pothole. We saw a beaver though, it came right by us and said hi with his tail. I heard a few people were catching some whites or stripers on swan creek by the bluff on swimming minnows. But that is about it. It got real cold real fast here this week, I hope that didn't send em deep or away. Good luck to you!

Fish story huh, well me and my girlfriend, Morgan fairchild, where catching 2 lbs white bass all day long , we caught so many we wore a hole in the water.I caught a 3 lbr and couldnt get it in the boat cause the hole was too small,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,yeah thats the ticket

All the reports I've heard this year have been from upstream - the Pothole, Swan Creek, Barker Hole, and Beaver Creek. Except when the white bass or walleye are running good (which they apparently aren't), that's not my favorite area of upper Bull Shoals.

I like to put in at K Dock or Yocum and fish from Snapp Holler down to Bear Creek. Sometimes I'll get past Bear Creek and up into Horseshoe Bend, but not very often. I haven't heard a single report from that whole area this year.

It seems to me that there ought to be some crappie, at least, to be had down there right now. The last couple of trips have been crowded at James River and Long Creek, so I'm going to get away from the crowds and try K Dock on Thursday.

What happened, Sam? Didn't you ever get to 'K' Dock? Or was your 'K' Dock trip like my recent trips - too embarassing to talk about?
