DOITLOOKIT Posted April 11, 2007 Author Posted April 11, 2007 Gone, you are right. Unblievable fishery. Never know what you are going to catch. If they are generating water we will be up there. If you are on the handicap ramp side just yell "hey coach" and about 4 or 5 of us will answer. We are all retired coaches and educators. Look us up. We will always have sliders available.
gonefishin Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 DO: I was checking out the generation charts you posted the link for. The posts are all for last week. Any idea when new ones will be posted? DO: HMMMmm nevermind. I got it figured out. Thanks I would rather be fishin'. "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." Benjamin Franklin, 1759
vonreed Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 Those sliders and pink heads were taught to me about 4 years ago by you "coach". And I owe you many crappie thank you's, lol. The last time I seen you up there you were with someone else that wanted to go, it was about dark and the fish were biting good. I could tell you didn't want to go yet, lol. If anyone ever wants someone to carpool with let me know. Just like you guys, I love that place, but the drive sucks. I'm down south of Nixa in Highlandville. 103 miles one way.
Members 2bfishn Posted April 11, 2007 Members Posted April 11, 2007 Gone, We need to get together sometime. Do I know you? I live in Marshfield and fish up at the tailrace a lot this time of year. Send me an e-mail sometime at k0ni@centurytel.net. I am off work all next week and am sure I will be up there part of the time when I am not in the Turkey woods. By the way guys. If you want to make a 2 day trip out of it there is a Motel at the 83 exit called Headwaters. Not real fancy but its clean and very inexpensive. I have stayed there twice so far this year and was happy both times. It cost my wife and I less to stay up there than it would have to drive it again the next day.
