Got in a few hours tonight

Well i got on the lake around 4:30pm (a little later than i would have liked) but had a great time. I had a good friend of mine with me and we caught 5 shorts and 3 keepers before 7pm. My first keeper was a 21" and close to 6 lbs.

They were moving really slow but hitting really hard. All i can say is that the sun was out and we were using a bright bait. We were pre-fishing and setting our plan of action for this weekend's Bass Anglers tournament. I do have one picture of the first keeper i caught but it was taken from my cell phone and it doesn't really do justice... As i had this one on my friend had one as well. A few minutes after this keeper i had a "PIG" hooked and almost had it until it broke off... It was a great fight but a mistake on my behalf by being to agressive. Lack of Patients was the culprit.

Well anyone else on here fishing the tournament?
