Motels Turnback Creek Area?

My wife and I are thinking about going down to the Turnback Creek area this weekend, we really don't know much about this area, are there any reasonable motels in this area and where can we find live bait?

Southwinds motel is not that far. Sun Sac marine store right next door usually has bait.
