looking for a marina slip

Will be moving to the Bella Vista area soon and will be needing a slip for my 20' fishing boat.  Would like to keep it on Beaver lake. Looking for suggestions and rates.  Thanks so much.

Rates will vary with amenities. Also lake position will have some impact on how you like to fish. Moved here 4 years ago and had same exercise to work through. You will need to visit them to really get the feel and they are different. Some offer food, gas type and price will be different. Parking is different. Some marinas are nuts busy on weekends and some are ghost towns. Start with location and plan on a visit the weekend or midweek when you will usually be using your boat. .  I won't throw shade or sunlight on any particular marina. I got lucky and bought a home with a slip. Buying a slip  is another option. Welcome to NWA.

I kept mine at prarie creek.  They weren't the cheapest but they were the best.  On site security at night was worth the piece of mind to me.  Also had the nicest slips when I was looking.  Make sure you buy a lift for your boat.  Letting it sit in the water 24/7 will just deteriorate the hull like crazy.

Back when we had a wakeboard boat we kept it at Rocky Branch.  It is much less crowded than Prarie Creek and for swimming and hanging out we liked that area of the lake a lot more.  Little farther drive but car gas is a lot cheaper than boat gas!  Never had any issues with security up there.  Never got too crowded.  So- I can say we had a good experience there.  

 

On the the other hand- if I was looking for a place to put my fishing boat I probably would look for the marina closest to the places I like to fish....

I have an all aluminum west coast fishing boat so I won’t need a boat lift. Got one quote for a covered slip, annual rate @ $1320. Not bad, about half of what they are here in Oregon.
