Thanks to you here I have just received my copy of Chuck and Sharon's book on trout fishing. I have only had this book two days now and have read just about the whole thing. Great book!

I'm not a fly fisher yet, but am slowly working on it. Anybody out there feel like giving some free casting lessons? If you are on the edge of becoming a flyfisherman like me, find you a copy of this book. It will send you over the edge to never return.

Are Chuck and Sharon still with us?

Does anyone have an email address for Spencer Turner?

Buy the book. I got my autographed copy for $5. It is brand new condition too. When I ordered it, the description said in used, fair condition. Ha! Whoever had this book before must have forgot to read it.

Randall is right----Sharon left us far too soon. AFAIK Chuck was still around at last report. A class act---both of them! CC

i made it sound like i knew both of them... not so much

i never met sharon, but i've heard that was my loss.

if you ever read chuck's book on missouri smallmouth... when he was researching it, he ran into my dad who showed him around lost creek in warren county. he sent us some rubber legged buggers he ties and a very nice thank-you note for it.

i wouldn't mind running into him on the water, though i wouldn't recognize him and he wouldn't have any idea who i am.

Nor was I close friends with them Randall. Just BSed with them a few times at early FFF Conclaves in Mt. HOME IIRC.

He generally attends the Missouri Smallmouth Alliance Rodeo. I haven't been lately, but Al A, or Gavin would probably know.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
