Members porter57 Posted May 3, 2007 Members Posted May 3, 2007 got a trip scheduled to bull shoals in about a week and a half. will be fishing basically from k dock to the arkansas line does anyony have any info as to conditions and the status of crappie in that area? from what i can glean from the sparse postings, they seem to be post spawn and huddled in the trees. i hope thats true! regardless im gonna make the trip, just hoping i dont have to resort to spending my dats in the frosty mug, unless ive caught so many fish i cant stand to be on the water any more. hoping to have a good time there hope all you folks do too!
MrDucky Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 Porter just a question , Did you ever do any online gaming ? war games ? your screen name looks familar Yikes!!! I Hate that warning horn
Wayne SW/MO Posted May 3, 2007 Posted May 3, 2007 You'll defiantly, most likely, face fluctuating water levels. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Members porter57 Posted May 3, 2007 Author Members Posted May 3, 2007 MrDucky, never done much online gaming ,a little dirt track racing perhaps and pogo once in a while but really ,not much. dont like the sound of fluctuating water levels. too much flotsam when on the rise and we know what dropping the lake does to fishing. oh well, im scheduled and cant change it. just gonna have to make the best of it. thanks for your reply.
Wayne SW/MO Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 My guess would be they are constantly on the move to take advantage of the rises in water level. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Members wildminnow Posted May 21, 2007 Members Posted May 21, 2007 maybe powersite breached and that would explain flucuating water levels huh calico wayne
Members PowersiteProwler Posted May 22, 2007 Members Posted May 22, 2007 maybe powersite breached and that would explain flucuating water levels huh calico wayne LMAO.....
Wayne SW/MO Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 With the amount of water there it looks like it. Given the fact that a breach worries y'all, maybe you should avoid the area until this rain quits. I'll let you know when its safe. That "calico" thing reminds me of 2 kids laughing at their own joke, I just wish I knew what it was. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Members wildminnow Posted May 22, 2007 Members Posted May 22, 2007 That just makes it that much funnier cant imagine what it means, I mean we all have cat pictures on our profiles
Members PowersiteProwler Posted May 22, 2007 Members Posted May 22, 2007 I just wish I knew what it was. We know Wayne, there seems to be a lot you wish you knew. It is apparant (at least on OAF) that you don't know near as much as you would like to think.
