ecce38 Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 I fished the right side of this island down by spider creek but without any success. It looked like the perfect spot too. Guest flyfishBDS Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 I fished the right side of this island down by spider creek but without any success. It looked like the perfect spot too. Looks great doesn't it. Yet never been a big producer for me. That little riffle you would think should be stacked. The deep hole further down at times will hold some decent fish but they can be a pain to tackle. All this area is being hit pretty hard by the bait guys and with such limited water releases the stockers tend not to get moved around Still there is plenty of wadfing water and lots of fish furether downstream, but I the better fishing remains higher int he tailwater. You going to be in this weekend mate?
