Members Fishnski Posted August 13, 2018 Members Posted August 13, 2018 I found this forum while I was down at Stockton last week/weekend. Went down there hoping to get into some nice slab crappie versus catching 8.5" crappie up here at Smithville all day. I was frustrated getting them to bite. I had just purchased a new depth finder so that took a few days of tinkering to get used to but was able to find some brush piles with fish but couldn't get them to hit on anything. So I figured I would ask you guys so my next trip might be more fruitful. Thanks.

I've been fishing the trees ( I think in Mays Creek) and trolling a bit. Just not much luck! Caught more drum on crankbaits this year than ever!! Been on the State Park side of the lake. Good luck out there!
Members Fishnski Posted August 13, 2018 Author Members Posted August 13, 2018 Thanks for the reply. Atleast I can say it wasn't just me I suppose. I threw everything I had at them...different jog colors, line colors, minnows, worms...
