The fishing was great today at the park, I had to close early on account of laziness, and pretty weather :) Johnny, shaun, and I fished from 1:30 to 4:00 and the fishing was great the whole time, Shaun caught 9 on a small apricot fur bug, he caught 4 on a black beetle, several on a small wooly worm, don't know how many he caught we stopped counting after 15 or so. John and I did pretty good, I guess I landed about 30 fish in that period of time, I caught most of mine on a green/grizzly #14 crackleback fished just under the surface and stripped back. I caught maybe 20 doing this, and then I switched off to a brown beetle, and managed to catch 6 more, they slowed down on that I switched to a #18 white brassie, caught 4 on that and then broke it off and put on a green crackleback again and managed to aggrivate the fish for a while, hooking several but never bringing any more to hand. John was doing about the same thing, he caught a bunch on a brassie(copper) and he caught several on a catipillar or a crackleback, one or the other, and when I left he and Shaun were still catching fish. We didn't catch anything of any real size, shaun had one that was about 15" and John and I each had one about 14", but we did catch some scrappers.
