gonefishin Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 peekaboo81: Welcome to the forum. I agree Lillys is a great place. I am less than an hour away so I have never stayed there. Hope you enjoy the forum just watch who you are talking to because some people on here will stretch their stories as much as they do their fish. :D I would rather be fishin'. Members peekaboo81 Posted June 19, 2007 Author Members Posted June 19, 2007 I know of every place but where you are from! I agree Rend Lake is a great place and used to fish many tournaments on it until my accident. Well if you havent hauled hay and you are from the area somethings wrong..hehe. Im about an hour and fifteen minutes north of DuQuion. Ever heard of Red Bud or Prairie Du Rocher? Thats where you will find me. Is it September yet?(thats when were heading down to trout fish) Peekaboo81: Welcome to the forum. Great place to learn and share info. What part of Southern Illinois. I am from a small town, Valier and my wife is from DuQuoin. I did my first Bachelors in Carbondale. Lots of great fishing in that area. I actually hauled hay and hunted when I was growing up from the valley that is now Rend Lake. Lets keep the secret of the great fishing in that area. Whoops! Me thinks I spilled the beans.
