Members cmo Posted May 21, 2007 Members Posted May 21, 2007 Jeremy, Do you have a jack plate & prop guard on your boat? Do you like to fish for Rainbows or Browns? Or, don't really care, just want to catch trout? :-) I'd recommend calling Ozark Angler or stop by on the way and get there recommendation. The Generation Schedule number is: 501-362-5150 or 918-595-6779. I can email a map to you. My email is cmorri30@gmail.com. My wife and I drifted this past Sunday for 3 hours with a dropper rig of Gold Ribbed Hare's Ear nymphs. We just went for Rainbows.
RiverRunner Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 cmo, Those are some good looking fish. Where did you guys put in at? I prefer the Lobo to Pangburn area myself.
Members cmo Posted May 21, 2007 Author Members Posted May 21, 2007 We put in at Dripping Springs. However, the boat traffic was insane. I think everyone had the same idea. P.S. How annoying is it when people float just behind you! I kept having to kick the trolling motor on to get distance.
RiverRunner Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 Very annoying! I had the same thing happen to me at Norfork last weekend. People (guides) would run up almost to the back of my boat and start their drift. I always go upriver of other boats to start my drift. I guess they need to get to those fish before me. I hate crowds!!!
